My story Close To You--But Not That Close is now officially for sale on Amazon. You can buy it here for the low price of $1.99.
The story is a blast, an action/adventure comedy that never stops moving, while still remaining socially conscious and promoting good social-distancing behaviors. I would estimate I spent about 10 hours writing the first draft which was about 21,000 words. They were 10 very fun hours, as I typically could not wait to get to it so that I could find out what was going to happen next!
I loved writing the story. I hope you enjoy reading it. Let me know in any of the comments what you think, and as always, please leave a review on Amazon.

Close To You
I'm very excited to announce the publication of my first novella, Close To You--But Not That Close. It'll be released in the coming days as a Kindle e-book, available for the great low price of $1.99.
I describe the book as Adventures in Babysitting during the Coronavirus stay-at-home orders. There's a lot of action and suspense, humor, and a pinch of romance thrown in. What more could you ask for in a story? All that for just $1.99!
My intention was to write a novel during spring break this year since we had to cancel our plans and stay home. I figured I could still be productive. And I wanted to write something that was pertinent, relevant, and important. But of course, those aren't really my specialties. So I went with full of action and humor instead, although I did still work in as many good habits of social distancing as I could to reinforce proper behavior.
If you've never read anything I've written, let me tell you a little bit about my style: I like to write fast and keep the plot moving. So if you like fast-paced action that may not be so introspective as some other things, I encourage you to try one of my stories. Maybe Close To You--But Not that Close would be a good one start with. After all, it's only $1.99.
